HOW IT WORKS
1
DAY ONE

Each student will be given a dress pattern based on their predetermined size.

Nick and David will properly measure every student.

Students will customize their pattern to their exact size and style.

Students will cut out their garments using their custom pattern in muslin for a fitting to check the fit and style.

DAY TWO

Students will sew their muslin garment in preparation for a fitting.

Nick will conduct a custom fitting with the student and their garment to make all necessary adjustments for a perfect fit.

With the guidance of Nick, students will correct their patterns.

Students will cut their custom garment pattern in fashion fabric to sew.

DAY THREE

Students will finish patterning and cutting their garment in fashion fabric, if it was not completed on Day Two.

Students will sew their garment with the guidance of Nick and David.

Students will leave the Three-Day Workshop with a custom pattern tailored to their individual measurements (or chosen measurements) and will complete a garment made by themselves!
WHATS INCLUDED
Tools and Equipment
We will have work stations, sewing machines and a few Dress Forms. We will also provide patternmaking supplies, but we encourage everyone to bring their own kit if they have one.
Muslin and Thread
We will provide muslin for your sample garment to perform a fitting with. We will also have thread to sew your garment, but we encourage you to bring matching thread based on your fabric.
Meals
Lunch will be provided each day.
Coffee and light continental Breakast.
Water available (we encourage you to bring a reusable bottle).
WHATS NOT INCLUDED
Fashion Fabric
You will be responsible for bringing your own Fashion Fabric that you want to construct your garment from. We will provide a list of fabrics that we feel would be appropriate for your project to guide you in your selection.
Transportation
You will be responsible to provide your own transportation to and from the venue. The Workshop will take place in-person in Los Angeles, CA. Details to be provided once booked.
Accomodations
You will be responsible for your own accomodations if you are traveling from outside the LA region. We are happy to provide information about hotels close to the venue.
